Somehow i feel its better to leave the bird in the wild and let nature take its course. the thought of caging them up is so unfair. I once had rescued an American Eagle, as a child. It succumbed to its injuries of s burnt wing. It was the saddest day for me.

I fully agree with this. I feel that except to save a bird’s life or to tender to it when it is injured, it may not be a kind act to keep a bird caged all its life just for fun, killing its own pleasure. Think of the plight of the bird which is doomed to the cage for all its life. A bird should be let in the open to live in its natural way as soon as possible, even if captured for some reason.
